Baseball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

Fairfield lost against Shalom Christian Academy two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Knights came up short against the Flames, falling 9-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fairfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Cramer, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-16-1. As for Shalom Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Coincidentally, Fairfield and Shalom Christian Academy will both be playing Steelton-Highspire the next time they take the field. The Flames will head out to face the Steamrollers at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Knights will host them at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
