Volleyball Recap: Cascade Takes a Loss

Cascade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Council Lumberjacks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat back in September.

While Cascade was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Council's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-15, 25-16.

Addie Hull paced Cascade's offense, picking up four kills. Hull got some help from Lauren Taylor and her six assists.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Council, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Cascade does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Council, they will head out on the road to take on Salmon River at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
