Basketball Recap: Josey Takes a Loss

Josey lost against Hephzibah back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Josey Eagles took a 43-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hephzibah Rebels. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Leading Hephzibah to victory were ISAIAH RICHARDSON and JAMARCUS SALMOND. RICHARDSON posted 15 points, while SALMOND had 12 points. JAMES ADAMS was another key player, putting up six points.

Josey's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hephzibah, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Josey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-33 loss against Laney on the 28th. As for Hephzibah, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 57-50 defeat against Harlem on the 3rd.
