Softball Recap: Person Takes a Loss

Person lost against Western Alamance last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rockets came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-3. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Person saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macey Bowes, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Kenzley Horne was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Person's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Western Alamance, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Person will welcome Roxboro Community at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Alamance, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Eastern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. The Warriors are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Eagles a six-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
