Basketball Recap: Doral Academy Red Rock Falls Despite Big Games from Isaiah Jackson and Brennan Cuello

Doral Academy Red Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-63 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bonanza Bengals. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (56), the Dragons still had to take the loss.

Doral Academy Red Rock's loss came despite strong showings from Brennan Cuello and Isaiah Jackson. Cuello went 8 for 13 en route to 21 points and three steals, while Jackson went 5 of 11 on his way to 15 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. With that strong performance, Cuello is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. Sebastian Zaman also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Doral Academy Red Rock's record is now 6-9. As for Bonanza, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
