Football Recap: Governor's Academy Comes Up Short

Governor's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 21-13 to Middlesex. The Governors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Middlesex apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Governor's Academy's record is now 0-3. As for Middlesex, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Governor's Academy will head out to take on St. Mark's at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Middlesex, they will venture away from home to challenge Brooks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
