Baseball Recap: Marsing Wins Going Away Against Parma

Marsing won the last time they faced Parma and things went their way on Monday too. The Huskies blew past the Panthers 14-2. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Marsing got a massive performance out of Dresden Wood, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Niko Godina was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.

Marsing always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Marsing has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Parma, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10.

Marsing wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 24-7 victory against Vision on the 16th. As for Parma, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-2 defeat against Nampa Christian on the 16th.
