It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bellmont had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fort Wayne Wayne Generals. The victory was nothing new for the Braves as they're now sitting on seven straight.

MaryKate Scheumann paced Bellmont's offense, picking up 11 kills. Scheumann were helped by Gracie Riggs and Lilly Selking, who contributed 12 assists each.

Bellmont's win bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Bellmont and Westfield will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fort Wayne Wayne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
