Volleyball Recap: Highland Huskies vs. Nezperce Nighthawks

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Nezperce Nighthawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Nighthawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-18, 25-14.

Highland's offense was headlined by Laramie Finnell and Sheradyn Stamper, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Amiya Wagenmann and her seven assists. Soux Sanford and Emma Tefft kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Nezperce, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland will square off against Deary at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nezperce, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Grangeville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
