Uniontown lost against Elizabeth Forward back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 4-2. The Red Raiders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Uniontown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emmaleigh Noah, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Uniontown's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Elizabeth Forward, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Uniontown will challenge rival Belle Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Elizabeth Forward is set to take on their familiar foe Oakland Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Warriors' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while Oakland Catholic have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
