Basketball Recap: Nolan Dubas and Kane Wetovick Secure Win for Fullerton

Fullerton won the last time they faced High Plains and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fullerton Warriors enjoyed a cozy 60-46 victory over the High Plains Storm. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Fullerton was led to victory by Kane Wetovick and Nolan Dubas. Wetovick dropped a double-double with 22 points and 16 boards, while Dubas posted 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. Wetovick's big performance that evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Gochenour, who earned nine points.

High Plains lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brodey Spurling, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 15 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Carter Urkoski, who went 6-for-8 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

Fullerton's record now sits at 16-7. As for High Plains, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.

As of now, neither Fullerton nor High Plains have any future games scheduled.
