Soccer Recap: Hunt Comes Up Short

If Hunt was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of South Central last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors came up short against the C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons on Monday, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Hunt were already down 5-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Conner McIntosh, which was the first he's scored this season.

Hunt now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for C.B. Aycock, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hunt will take on rival Southern Wayne at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, C.B. Aycock is set to challenge their familiar foe Southern Nash at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
