Roman Byers, Piper's leading rusher, solidified his role on Friday. Byers was dynamite, rushing for 149 yards and three scores on only seven carries. He is becoming a predictor of Piper's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 3-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't).
