Softball Recap: Carlin Railroaders vs. Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carlin). Everything went their way against the Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams on Saturday as Carlin made off with a 29-1 victory. The Railroaders have beaten the Rams the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rams has come to flipping the script.
Joey Drown made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Drown was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Carlin got a massive performance out of Jazzmyn Salazar, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and four runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
