Soccer Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland lost against R.A. Long back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Beavers fell just short of the Lumberjacks by a score of 2-1. Woodland just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-3. As for R.A. Long, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Woodland is set to take on their familiar foe Hudson's Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, R.A. Long will square off against rival Hockinson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. R.A. Long are on a four-game streak of home wins, Hockinson a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
