Volleyball Recap: Oak Forest Extends Winning Streak to Three

Oak Forest had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Northside Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The Bengals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Oak Forest found their leader in sophomore Caleb Perez, who had ten digs and one assist.

Oak Forest now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Northside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Oak Forest will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oak Lawn at 5:45 p.m. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bengals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northside, they will head out to square off against Waukegan at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
