Baseball Recap: Rolesville Triumphs

Rolesville lost to Athens Drive back in March of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Rams walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Jaguars.

Rolesville's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kethan Boykin, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Boykin has brought in this season.

Rolesville's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-8 and their overall record up to 5-12. As for Athens Drive, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Rolesville will take on Willow Spring at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Athens Drive will be paying especially close attention to the Rams' matchup: after the Rams face off against the Storm, they'll take on Athens Drive again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
