Recap: Ardmore Tigers vs. East Limestone Indians
The Ardmore Tigers''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 45-0 loss at the hands of East Limestone. Ardmore lost against East Limestone in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 49-22 score last time.
Ardmore's loss was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.7 points per game. As for East Limestone, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ardmore will take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Central has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 191 points over their last four matches. As for East Limestone, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Mae Jemison at 7:00 p.m.
