Volleyball Recap: Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Comes Up Short

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Chattooga Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's offense was headlined by Ajla Rizvic and Miley Johnson, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Kinley Slatton and her eight assists. Montana Noblitt controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe's defeat dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Chattooga, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-8.

Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Southeast Whitfield County on the 23rd. As for Chattooga, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Northwest Whitfield on the 20th.
