Basketball Recap: Leland & Gray Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Leland & Gray won against Long Trail on Tuesday with 48 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Rebels beat Long Trail by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 48-21. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-21 on Tuesday.

The win made it two in a row for Leland & Gray and bumps their season record up to 2-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 42 points in those games. As for Long Trail, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Leland & Gray has already played their next contest, a 56-48 loss against Poultney on the 16th. As for Long Trail, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-34 defeat against Mt. St. Joseph Academy on the 16th.
