Softball Recap: Edna Karr's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Edna Karr waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 15-10 win over the John Ehret Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-3 last Friday.

Raniyah Recasner was a standout: she fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-5. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. Jaylnn Recasner was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-3.

Edna Karr was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Edna Karr's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for John Ehret, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Coming up, Edna Karr is taking a road trip to challenge John Curtis Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for John Ehret, they will welcome New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
