Volleyball Recap: Marshall Academy Comes Up Short

Marshall Academy lost against Barry County Christian last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Griffons fell 2-0 to the Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12.

Marshall Academy's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Barry County Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

Barry County Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Libertas Christian on the 4th. Hopefully Marshall Academy paid attention to the Eagles' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
