Preview: Ferris Yellowjackets vs. Kennedale Wildcats
Ferris is 0-3 against Kennedale since December of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Ferris Yellowjackets will head out on the road to take on the Kennedale Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Ferris suffered their biggest defeat since November 18, 2023 on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 75-33 loss at the hands of Godley. While losing is never fun, Ferris can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 688th, while Godley is ranked 165th).
Meanwhile, Kennedale suffered a tough 61-38 defeat at the hands of Alvarado on Tuesday. Kennedale has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ferris' defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Kennedale, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.
Ferris came up short against Kennedale in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 63-53. Can Ferris avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
