Recap: Harmony Grove Cardinals vs. Centerpoint Knights
It was a good run, but the Harmony Grove Cardinals unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 45-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Centerpoint. Harmony Grove was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Centerpoint apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Centerpoint's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chloe Pipkins, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycee Smith, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds.
Harmony Grove's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Centerpoint, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Fouke the next time they take the court. Centerpoint will head out to face Fouke at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Harmony Grove will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
