After a string of three wins, Hoonah's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Wrangell Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in October.

Hoonah might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Wrangell: every set was decided by exactly two points. The final score came out to 25-23, 28-26.

Hoonah's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Wrangell, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4-1.

Hoonah has already played their next match (against Skagway), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wrangell will be paying especially close attention to the Braves' contest: after the Braves face off against Metlakatla, they'll take on Wrangell again on Saturday.
