Soccer Recap: North Takes a Loss

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Arvin Bears. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in January.

North's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Arvin, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12-3.

North and Arvin could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. North will take on South at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 692 places (1219 vs. 527). Similarly, Arvin (ranked 914th) will meet Foothill (ranked 386th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
