Volleyball Recap: Jersey Comes Up Short

Jersey lost against Mascoutah back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Indians. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-4, 25-12.

Lauryn Turpin paced Jersey's offense, picking up three kills. Turpin got some help from Adrian Blasa and her eight assists.

Jersey's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Mascoutah, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Jersey will take on Southwestern in a tournament on Saturday. As for Mascoutah, they will square off against Mater Dei at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
