Burlington City moved up to 214 from 265 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in West Jersey - Freedom. The Blue Devils climbed the ranks as a result of topping South Hunterdon 20-17.
Maple Shade and Haddon Township played the most contested game in the league this week, with Maple Shade eventually emerging with a 13-12 victory.
Palmyra's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver.
Max Smyth put up the best numbers in passing as the Panthers lost to Shore Regional.
5-foot-8 quarterback Charlie Davis of the Wildcats is the league leader in passing yards this season with 456. He has also thrown 5 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Wade Singletary. The Burlington City star has 12 catches for 207 yards.
In 104 carries John Harman has accumulated 905 yard this year.
Burlington City made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,750 from 10,685. The improvement was the result of a 20-17 victory over the Eagles last week.
