Soccer Game Preview: Calvary Christian vs. Rockwell Christian School

Calvary Christian is 0-5 against Rockwell Christian School since August of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Cougar will be playing at home against the Chargers at 4:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Calvary Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Raleigh Christian Academy and fell 2-1.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Rockwell Christian School and Abundant Life Christian Academy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Chargers put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 4-1 win on Tuesday. Rockwell Christian School might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

Rockwell Christian School's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for Calvary Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Calvary Christian might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from Rockwell Christian School when the teams last played back in August of 2024.
