Soccer Game Preview: Lake Forest Academy vs. Latin

The Lake Forest Academy Caxys will take on the Latin Romans at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lake Forest Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Lake Forest Academy took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Chicago University, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Caxys' defense stepped up to hand the Maroons a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked Lake Forest Academy's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, Latin didn't have quite enough to beat Chicago University on Friday and fell 3-2.

Lake Forest Academy moved to 8-6-2 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Latin, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-2.
