Shelby is a perfect 6-0 against Holton since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. Holton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Shelby, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, Shelby earned a 3-1 win over Ravenna. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Shelby was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (87-86), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 11-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-21.

Among those leading the charge was Charlee Friedman, who had 14 digs and two aces. What's more, she posted two assists, the most she's had over her last seven contests.

Meanwhile, Holton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to North Muskegon.

Holton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Shelby, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.

Everything went Shelby's way against Holton in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Shelby made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Devils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
