Basketball Recap: South Terrebonne Takes a Loss

South Terrebonne was the 38-36 winner over Morgan City when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The South Terrebonne Gators were dealt an 81-47 defeat at the hands of the Morgan City Tigers on Friday. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Terrebonne's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Morgan City, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Terrebonne will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Morgan City, they will venture away from home to face off against Broadmoor at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
