Basketball Recap: Clyde Skates Past Waite with Ease

On Saturday, the Clyde Fliers couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 81-39 blowout they got against the Waite Indians. The match marked the Fliers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Clyde is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points per game. As for Waite, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Clyde will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Sandusky at 7:15 p.m. Sandusky will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Clyde surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waite, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northwood at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
