Volleyball Recap: South Bend Saint Joseph Wins Going Away Against Granger Christian

The South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies got the win against the Granger Christian Knights on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

South Bend Saint Joseph was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-18.

Their offense was headlined by Colin Penn and Chris Williams, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Run Li and his 27 assists. He and Penn didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with four apiece.

South Bend Saint Joseph has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Granger Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, South Bend Saint Joseph will take on Mishawaka Marian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Granger Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
