Basketball Recap: Los Osos Comes Up Short

Los Osos played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Damien Spartans and fell 69-42. The game marked the Grizzlies' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Los Osos' loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Damien, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-6.

Los Osos has already played their next contest (against Chino Hills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Damien won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Crean Lutheran at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Crean Lutheran knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Damien likes a good challenge.
