Baseball Recap: Morenci's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Morenci made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Willcox, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wildcats beat the Cowboys on Monday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-1. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The team relied heavily on Anthony Roybal, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Shane Seballos was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Morenci's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Willcox, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1.
