Titusville had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. Everything went their way against the Oil City Oilers as they made off with a 10-0 win. Considering the Rockets have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Brett Schmidt, who gave up just three hits to keep Oil City off the board.

At the plate, Titusville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Covell, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Covell is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last 12 games he's played. Ian McDonald was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Titusville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in five consecutive games.

Titusville's record is now 15-2. As for Oil City, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Titusville has already played their next match, a 13-6 defeat against Slippery Rock on the 14th. As for Oil City, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Franklin on the 14th.
