Basketball Recap: Barrow Comes Up Short at Home Against Price

Barrow unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a hard 69-55 fall against the Price Knights on Thursday.

Despite the loss, Barrow saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alex Fruean posted 22 points. The game was Fruean's third in a row with at least ten points. Jaziah Tivao was another key player, putting up ten points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Price, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Barrow wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-50 defeat against Service on the 20th. Price has also already played their next contest, a 56-46 win against Bartlett on the 20th.
