Volleyball Recap: Snyder Comes Up Short

Snyder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sharon-Mutual Trojans. The Cyclones were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Snyder wouldn't go down easily and took Sharon-Mutual into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-11, 25-22, 13-25, 15-13.

Snyder's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Sharon-Mutual, the victory snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 7-14 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snyder will face off against Erick at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sharon-Mutual, they will square off against Fox at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
