Basketball Recap: North Cedar Comes Up Short

North Cedar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Prince of Peace Prep Irish, falling 79-39. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-35 back in January.

North Cedar's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Prince of Peace Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Cedar will face off against North Linn at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. North Linn knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten matches -- so hopefully North Cedar likes a good challenge. As for Prince of Peace Prep, they will venture away from home to square off against East Buchanan at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
