The Cedar Grove Panthers got the win against the Clifton Mustangs on Wednesday by a conclusive 12-2. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Cedar Grove has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Clifton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Coincidentally, Cedar Grove and Clifton will both be playing Verona the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Hillbillies at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Panthers will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
