Basketball Recap: Deer Creek Comes Up Short

Deer Creek lost against Delta Streets Academy back in January of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Deer Creek Warriors were beaten by the Delta Streets Academy Lions 59-30. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Deer Creek's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Delta Streets Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Deer Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Delta Streets Academy, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Winona Christian at 10:15 a.m. on December 30th. Delta Streets Academy has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three matchups.
