Baseball Recap: River Valley Takes a Loss

River Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the River City Raiders. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2018.

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for River City, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-8.

Looking ahead, River Valley will take on McClatchy in a tournament on Monday. As for River City, they will take on Sacramento at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
