Baseball Game Preview: Franklin Road Academy Panthers vs. Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars

Franklin Road Academy hasn't had much luck against Middle Tennessee Christian recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Panthers will face off against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Franklin Road Academy beat Spring Hill 8-4.

Dane Wascom was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two). Nicholas Potts was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Middle Tennessee Christian was not the first on the board last Tuesday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against Franklin Road Academy by a score of 6-2. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Franklin Road Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Middle Tennessee Christian, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
