Baseball Game Preview: Bartlesville Bruins vs. Ponca City Wildcats

Bartlesville has gone 8-2 against Ponca City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bruins will challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Bartlesville fell victim to Stillwater and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pioneers, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, Ponca City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 6-0 to Jenks.

Ponca City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18. As for Bartlesville, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.

Bartlesville beat Ponca City 5-1 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
