Football Game Preview: Bloomfield Bengals vs. East Orange Campus Jaguars

Bloomfield is 1-9 against East Orange Campus since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bengals will head out to square off against the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Bloomfield sitting on three straight wins and East Orange Campus on five (dating back to last season).

Bloomfield is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 48-12 victory over Lincoln. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bengals with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, East Orange Campus put their dominant defense on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Orange a 47-0 shutout. Given the Jaguars' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 257th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bloomfield's record now sits at 4-1. As for East Orange Campus, their record is now 4-0.

Bloomfield took a serious blow against East Orange Campus in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 38-0. Can the Bengals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
