Volleyball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fairview lost against Horizon back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Hawks.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Horizon scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 22-25, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Fairview still got an impressive performance from Peyton Weiss, who had 29 digs and four assists. Weiss has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Summer Meek, who had 12 assists and four digs.

Fairview has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Horizon, with the victory, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 13-10.

As of now, neither Fairview nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
