Basketball Recap: Everglades Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Everglades can now relate to. They took a 63-44 bruising from the Miramar Patriots on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 60-40 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Everglades' defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Miramar, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Everglades nor Miramar have any future games scheduled.
