Palo Verde Valley strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 44-36 victory over the Calipatria Hornets. For the Yellow Jackets, this counts as revenge for the 64-48 win the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Palo Verde Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zaraivion Crowe out in front who posted 11 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Daymien Jauregi, who earned six points and nine boards.

Palo Verde Valley's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Palo Verde Valley will take on Calabasas in a tournament on Friday. The Yellow Jackets will be up against the Coyotes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.71 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Calipatria, they will be taking part in a tournament against Imperial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
