Basketball Recap: Mesabi East Comes Up Short at Home Against Deer River

Mesabi East unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Deer River Warriors on Tuesday, falling 113-25. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Coincidentally, Mesabi East and Deer River will both be playing Two Harbors the next time they take the court. The Giants will host the Agates at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on the 11th.
